This one shows how to pull existing content into a paragraph and choose how each referenced item is rendered — title only, title with teaser, or title with an image.
One correction before you start
The Node Reference bundle does not reference any content type on your site. Every reference field in node_reference_bundle is restricted to a single content type, pb_node_reference, which the sub-module installs for exactly this purpose with a Body and an image field. Content you want to surface this way has to live in that type; an Article will not appear in the autocomplete.
Four display modes
The PB Content View Mode select drives everything else:
- Display (Title + Image) Narrow Mode — square-ish crop, made for cards and 3D carousels.
- Display (Title + Image) Wide Mode — the wide crop used in slideshows.
- Display (Title + Teaser) — no image.
- Display (Title Only) — a bare linked heading.
Each mode has its own reference field, and a small admin script shows only the field that matches your choice, so the form never presents four autocompletes at once.
Why the bundle exists
It is the supply line for the visual bundles: a slideshow or a 3D carousel of real, maintained content rather than duplicated copy. A dedicated 700x420 image style is installed for the carousel mode.
Dependencies worth knowing
Its info file pulls in Paragraph Bundle Image and core's Responsive Image — the comments in that file record why: without them both view displays are skipped silently at install and the content type ends up with no default display. Core requirement is ^11.3 || ^12.
Install details are on the Paragraphs Bundles module page.
