This is the quickest bundle in the suite: rich text with a background colour, opacity and hover colour, set by an editor without a line of CSS.
The Simple bundle comes with the base module
You do not enable a sub-module for this one. Installing paragraphs_bundles itself creates the Simple paragraph type (simple_bundle). Its Content tab holds a Title with a Title tag and Title alignment selector, a Body, and a Link. Leave the tag and alignment at None and the template falls back to an H3 aligned left.
Where the colour settings live
The paragraph edit form is split into Content and Display tabs, and the Display tab is grouped into Colors, Border and radius, Spacing, and Size and effects. The colour group is where this video spends its time:
- Background Color and Background Color Hover
- Background Color Opacity, a value from 1 to 100
- Text Color, Link Color, and a hover variant of each
How the colour actually reaches the page
This is the part that changed in version 2 and it is worth understanding. Saving the paragraph writes a small CSS file for that paragraph into public://paragraphs_bundles/ and attaches it as its own library. There is no style attribute in the markup, the rules are scoped to the paragraph's element id so an editor's choice beats the theme without !important, and a colour change needs no cache clear. If files ever go missing, drush pb:regenerate-css rebuilds every one of them.
Requirements
Drupal 11.3 or 12, per the module's own info file, together with Paragraphs, Entity Reference Revisions and Field Group.
See the Paragraphs Bundles module page for the full bundle list.
